UI Way2Go Debit Card
The Georgia Unemployment Insurance (UI) Way2Go Debit MasterCard®, operated by Go Program® and issued by Comerica Bank, replaces paper checks and is another convenient method to receive benefit payments. Individuals eligible for unemployment benefits have the option to receive payments by direct deposit or debit card. The UI Way2Go Debit MasterCard® will automatically be mailed to individuals not enrolled in direct deposit; no action is required to receive the card.
Once the UI Way2Go Debit MasterCard® is received, cardholders should call UI Debit MasterCard® Customer Service at 1.888.929.2460 or visit Go Program® to activate the debit card account. Cardholders can access account information by telephone or Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. UI Debit MasterCard® Customer Service handles all inquiries regarding the debit card including cards not received, lost or stolen. UI Debit MasterCard® Customer Service does not have access to any claim or payment information. Claim inquiries should be directed to the Georgia Department of Labor.
Debit card customers requiring Text Telephone (TTY) assistance can call the Go Program TTY support line at 1.877.906.0085.
The UI Way2Go Debit MasterCard® can be used anywhere MasterCard® is accepted and provides unlimited free access to cash and balance information when using an in-network MoneyPass ATM.
The last payments by paper check were mailed November 1, 2012. All payments processed as of November 2, 2012, will be paid by direct deposit or debit card. Individuals can enroll in, change, or cancel direct deposit anytime online while receiving unemployment benefits.
