Coming Soon: IRS Form 1099-G

The Georgia Department of Labor will release IRS Form 1099-G information for tax year 2024 by January 31, 2025. Only individuals who received unemployment benefit payments during the period January 1 - December 31, 2024, will be issued a 1099-G.

Individuals who elect to receive the IRS Form 1099-G electronically will be able to access their forms for current and previous tax years on the MyUI Claimant Portal. An email notice will be sent to individuals with an email address on their claim account when the 1099-G forms are available. The form will be mailed to the address listed on the account for individuals who did not opt-in for the electronic form.

Individuals who opted out may update your election to only receive an electronic form by accessing the 1099-G Opt-In link on the MyUI Claimant Portal by midnight, Friday, January 17, 2025.
