WorkSource Georgia has now replaced Employ Georgia

WorkSource Georgia is now live. This new portal replaces Employ Georgia as the official online tool for enrolling in employment services, which is required for requesting unemployment benefits.

Managed by our partners at the TCSG - Technical College System of Georgia, this service is your go-to destination for all your employment and job search needs. It is a secure, web-based system used to connect job seekers with job openings.

You are required to create and maintain a WorkSource Georgia account to satisfy the E.S. registration requirement even if you previously registered with Employ Georgia. Register by going to dol.georgia.gov and selecting Register for Employment Services under the Online Services section. Registration includes creating a profile with the social security number used to file your unemployment claim and at least one résumé.

If you previously registered for work using the GDOL’s Employ Georgia (EG) system, you may enter the same EG username and then select the Retrieve Username or Password link to establish a WorkSource Georgia password.

Unemployment benefits may be delayed or denied for individuals who do not register for employment services through WorkSource Georgia. You are encouraged to complete this process now to satisfy the E.S. registration requirements and begin using the available employment services.

If you have questions or need assistance with your WorkSource Georgia account, please call the TCSG Call Center at 404.982.7985 or email [email protected]. If you have questions about your unemployment claim or other services offered by GDOL, you may view your claim status, correspondence and more on your MyUI Claimant Portal by going to dol.georgia.gov and selecting MyUI Claimant Portal under Online Services. You may also call 1.877.709.8185 and, when prompted, say a few words to describe the reason for your call, such as "claim information."
