How do I follow the employer filed claim process and what do I need to expect after my employer has filed a claim on my behalf?

Employer submits claim information for each employee
Employer enters claim information for each employee and submits. Employer receives confirmation at the end of each submission on the Employer Portal. Employers must file claims each week for benefits to be paid to your employees.
By Day 1 -
A Benefits Determination letter will be mailed to each employee
Employer Filed (Partials): A Benefit Determination letter will be mailed to each employee which shows the period and wages used to calculate the claim and their benefit year period.
By Day 3 -
After the employer filed claim is processed, the employee can go online to set up a password
After the employer filed claim is processed, the employee can set up a password at Create/Forgot Password and/or PIN. A password allows access to GDOL’s online services, e.g., My UI, UI Benefit Payment Methods, and Change of Address and Contact Information.
By Day 3 -
Employees can access their weekly benefit payment
Please expect 48-72 hours after your employee's claim has been properly submitted, processed, and approved before they can access their weekly benefit payment. Payments will be made to the most recent payment method on record: direct deposit or state issued debit card.
