Find Qualified Ag Workers
The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) can work with you prior to peak seasons to plan for your workforce needs. The GDOL offers the following recruitment options to help locate qualified workers:
- Local Agricultural Job Orders are used to recruit workers in your local service area. Submit an online Job Order Request to advertise job openings through the state's Job Information System (JIS) or contact the nearest GDOL Career Center.
- H-2A Temporary Agricultural Program is used to recruit non-immigrant foreign migrant workers for temporary, seasonal work. Access the United Sates Department of Labor (USDOL) Office of Foreign Labor Certification or the Employer Guide to Participation in the H-2A Temporary Agricultural Program (PDF) for more information about the program.
Requests for H-2A positions are processed through the GDOL Agricultural Services unit. Complete the Employer Request for Contact Form.
