You can request PUA payments for each week you were unemployed or worked reduced hours due to COVID-19. You will need to request payment for that week and all eligible weeks on the day after the week ends. An unemployment benefits week begins on Sunday and ends the following Saturday at midnight. Example: If your business closed on Wednesday, March 13, 2020, you should request your PUA payments for week ending dates 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, etc. For each week requested, you are required to report all gross earnings and income. PUA benefits are potentially available from week ending 2/8/2020, but your eligibility is dependent upon the date you entered in your PUA application as the last day you worked.
