Nov. 3 deadline set for workers in two Georgia counties to file for Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA)

ATLANTA – Workers in two Georgia counties affected by Hurricane Irma have until Nov. 3 to file initial claims for Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) to compensate for loss of income directly resulting from the storm.  

The affected counties are Coffee and Charlton.   Any claim filed after Nov. 3 will not be eligible to be paid benefits without extenuating circumstances.
